Mark Harvie
CEO
Mark Harvie is the President and Founder of Omni Defense Tech. Drawn to technology and engineering from a very young age; Mark began building radios at only 8 years old and built his first hang glider at the age of 12. He acquired his hang-gliding license at 16, and his private pilot's license just two years later. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Electromechanical Engineering in 1983 and began his postgrad career as an engineer at IBM. In 1998, he founded Omni, excited that his career path would once again intersect with his passion for aviation. His innovative ideas have brought Omni to where it is today, with the only certified safe-to-fly in-flight bladder relief system, and he is constantly researching and developing new ideas to Elevate Human Performance.

Tristan Harvie
COO
The second son of Omni’s Founder and President, Tristan grew up surrounded by the business, learning the defense manufacturing industry from the inside out. He officially joined Omni in 2015, working on the production line during summer breaks. After earning his B.S. in Business Administration—with concentrations in Marketing, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship—from the University of Maine Orono in 2018, Tristan stepped into a full-time role and quickly proved himself as a results-driven leader. His rapid rise led to his promotion to General Manager in 2021 and, just three years later, to Chief Operations Officer.
A specialist in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001:2015 compliance, Tristan has played a pivotal role in maintaining Omni Defense Tech’s operational excellence and securing its annual ISO certification. Beyond the office, he brings the same discipline and competitive spirit to amateur boxing, earning multiple Golden Gloves and Northern New England titles since 2021. Whether leading complex operations or stepping into the ring, Tristan applies relentless focus, strategic precision, and a commitment to performance at the highest level.
